Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 August 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Planeward collects and uses information on the marketing site at planeward.com and in the Planeward web application.
It is the policy that applies today. Questions go to [email protected].
1. Information you provide
- Account — Email address, and Discord identity if you sign in with Discord. There is no password. We send a magic link if you sign in by email.
- Workspace content — Projects, tasks, comments, files, and optional customer, invoice, or payment records you or your members create.
- Invites — Email addresses you enter when you invite someone to a workspace or project.
- Support — Messages you send to [email protected].
We do not collect payment card details for a Planeward subscription. There is no Planeward platform plan to pay for.
If you connect Stripe, PayPal, Wise, or bank details in a workspace to invoice your customers, those processors handle that payment data. Planeward stores the connection details you enter so the workspace can collect payment. We do not take a cut of those payments.
2. Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — Pages visited, IP address, browser type, and timestamps, as produced by hosting and application logs.
- Session data — What we need to keep you signed in and to apply the workspace you last used.
3. Analytics
On the marketing site, if analytics is configured, we load a first-party analytics script (site id and script URL) for pageviews and marketing CTA events — for example, which page led to a sign-in click.
Those events do not include workspace contents, files, or your customers’ invoice details. We do not use Google Analytics in the application code.
4. How we use information
- To operate sign-in and the workspace product.
- To send magic-link emails and workspace invitations.
- To store and display the content you put in a workspace.
- To respond to support email.
- To keep the Services secure and to diagnose problems.
- To understand which marketing pages lead to sign-in clicks.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use workspace contents to train public AI models.
5. Sharing
We share information only as needed to run Planeward:
- Hosting and infrastructure — The providers that run the app, database, file storage, and related services.
- Email — The provider that delivers magic links, invitations, and mail from [email protected].
- Discord — If you sign in with Discord, Discord authenticates you and we receive the identity needed to create or match your account.
- Workspace payment processors — If you enable Stripe, PayPal, Wise, or bank details in a workspace, those processors receive what they need to collect payment from your customers.
- The law — If we are required to disclose information, or to protect Planeward, our users, or the public.
People you invite to a workspace can see the content their role and project access allow.
6. Retention
We keep account and workspace data while the account or workspace exists.
If you ask us to close an account or delete a workspace, we will remove the associated data from the live product, except what we must keep for security, backups for a limited period, or the law.
There is no self-serve full-account export yet. Email [email protected] if you need a copy of your data.
7. Your choices
You can:
- Update profile and workspace settings in the app.
- Leave a workspace or ask an owner to remove you.
- Ask us to correct or delete personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to close your account.
We will respond to requests sent to [email protected]. We may need to verify that the request comes from you.
8. Children
Planeward is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes will be stated on this page.
